Trabalho desenvolvido com recurso a sistemas de realidade virtual com feedback háptico onde se questiona de que forma estas tecnologias se podem relacionar com a produção artística, mais concretamente na construção imersiva de uma narrativa interativa.
Tendo como tema principal a memória, a experiência criada incide sobre um agricultor que cultiva as suas memórias, sendo promovida uma visita virtual a essas memórias que brotam da terra. Fragmentos digitais e temporais de um espaço que se habitou e trabalhou em contexto de residência artística na associação Cultivamos Cultura, situada na aldeia de S.Luis.

Agricultor de Memórias [Memory Farmer] was developed using virtual reality systems with haptic feedback questions how these technologies can relate to artistic production, specifically in the immersive construction of an interactive narrative.
With memory as its main theme, the experience focuses on a farmer who cultivates his memories, promoting a virtual visit to these memories that spring from the earth. Digital and temporal fragments of a space that was inhabited and worked on in the context of an artistic residency at the Cultivamos Cultura association, located in the village of S. Luis.

Sérgio Eliseu, artista, designer e investigador cuja prática atravessa três décadas, evoluindo de uma formação técnica inicial de tradição familiar em pintura e restauro de património para a exploração de meios digitais e tecnologias imersivas. Iniciando o seu percurso expositivo em 1994, consolidou uma trajetória que integra a tradição das artes plásticas — com formação de base em História da Arte pela Universidade de Coimbra — com a inovação tecnológica. Doutorado em Arte e Design pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto e Mestre em Criação Artística Contemporânea pela Universidade de Aveiro, é atualmente Professor de Estudos Artísticos nesta última instituição e membro integrado do ID+ (Instituto de Investigação em Design, Media e Cultura). O seu trabalho investiga os territórios híbridos entre matéria e digital, tradição e inovação, explorando novas formas de perceção e relação com a imagem, o espaço e a experiência imersiva. É fundador e promotor do Atelier Eliseu, espaço cultural dedicado à criação, investigação e divulgação artística na vila da Lousã.
Sérgio Eliseu, artist, designer and researcher whose practice spans three decades, evolving from an initial technical training rooted in a family tradition of painting and heritage restoration towards the exploration of digital media and immersive technologies. Beginning his exhibition career in 1994, he has developed a trajectory that integrates the tradition of the visual arts — grounded in a background in Art History from the University of Coimbra — with technological innovation. He holds a PhD in Art and Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Artistic Creation from the University of Aveiro. He is currently Professor of Artistic Studies at the latter institution and an integrated member of ID+ (Institute for Research in Design, Media and Culture). His work investigates hybrid territories between matter and the digital, tradition and innovation, exploring new forms of perception and relationships with image, space and immersive experience. He is the founder and promoter of Atelier Eliseu, a cultural space dedicated to artistic creation, research and dissemination in the town of Lousã.
