Cultivamos Cultura hosts creators’ residencies in two different formats.
In the first format, CC prioritizes the coordination of a program of curated residencies, in connection with its cultural offer. The costs of these residencies are covered by sponsors and the artists are invited directly by the CC team.
In the second format, the CC considers hosting residencies outside its program of activities. There is limited availability for hosting non-programmed residencies and CC does not offer funding mechanisms to cover the costs of these residencies outside its program. However, should the proposal be selected, we will be pleased to provide a letter of support for applying for external funding.
Residency proposals for this second format can be submitted using this form. Proposals are selected quarterly by the CC team. Four review periods are considered throughout the year. The selection criteria are artistic relevance to Cultivamos Cultura’s mission and the demonstration of logistical and practical viability in relation to the curated activities already programmed. Below are the values and details:
- Residence with use of space (per week / 1 or 2 person(s)): 150 euros (extra person + 50 euros per week)
- Residence with use of space + accommodation (per week / 1 or 2 person(s)): 250 euros (extra person + 100 euros per week)
- Maximum of 6 people per residence
- Maximum 8-week residency for individuals
- Maximum 2-weeks for performance projects/teams
