DGArtes
The Direção Geral das Artes (DGARTES) is a central department of the Ministry of Culture, created as a result of the reorganization of the Arts Institute, as part of the Civil Service reform. The mission of DGARTES is to coordinate and carry out arts support policies, foster institutional partnerships and conduct the necessary course of action to ensure the universal character of its undertaking, as well as the freedom and qualification of artistic creation.
The core objectives of DGARTES include: to support independent cultural agents, to actively promote the internationalization of Portuguese arts and artists, to promote the works of artists and interpreters through publications in various types of media and to encourage innovation and experimenting in the field of the arts. This is part of a comprehensive strategy that aims to support artistic creation and dissemination, the development of new audiences and increased international cooperation and exchange.
Camara Municipal de Odemira

The Municipality of Odemira is characterized by immense diversity of landscape, stretching between the plains, the hills and the sea, a total of 1720.25 km2, of which the Mira River and the Santa Clara dam, give a special color. In area, it is the largest municipality across Portugal, despite having just over 26,000 inhabitants.
The council is a local authority which is defined as a territorial legal person endowed with representative bodies (the Board and the Municipal Assembly) dedicated to the pursuit of the self-interest of the respective populations. Odemira’s Municipality considers cultural and recreational associations are centers of civic, social and personal development for communities that are within the municipality of Odemira. Also, cultural and recreational associations promote social participation, and are an expression of freedom and community. Cultural and recreational associations must have several ways to express their activity, while safeguarding traditions and promoting contemporarity.
It is one of the purposes of Odemira Municipality to promote the endeavour and coherent leading of cultural and recreational associations, thus allowing not only a quantitative and qualitative increase supply of cultural practice in the municipality, but also an encouragement of the development of existing networks.
Naturarte
Naturarte is rural tourism hotel, located in São Luis and Vila Nova de Milfontes, near Cultivamos Cultura. In its two estates (herdades) Naturarte offers a diversity of experiences that are not common in hotels or guesthouses such as bike, horse-riding and walking trails within the natural park, swiming pool, tennis, and some of the country best beaches. The river Mira meanders through the estate, where a private jetty is ideal for fishing, kayaking or swimming. Naturarte offers a personalized experience to its visitors, something only possible due to its small size and dedicated staff. Naturarte has been supporting Cultivamos Cultura, as well as other local organizations, as it believes that it has a social responsibility within the community. Naturarte also believes that by fostering the development of contemporary art practices in Cultivamos Cultura it is also creating an exciting cultural offer that will contribute to the local development.
Ectopia
Ectopia is a laboratory hosting artists from different backgrounds interested in exploring the intersection of art and science. It fosters the development of collaborative projects involving artists and researchers.
Ectopia provides resident artists access to the research being conducted in several research institutes in Portugal. During the residency, the artists are exposed to the research through seminars and informal discussions with the scientists, being encouraged to develop collaborative projects. In addition, the researchers are also exposed to the artists and invited to take advantage of those collaborations in their scientific projects.
The projects being developed at ectopia will be made public through regular exhibitions, lectures and publications. In addition, the development of each particular project will be documented, and will be available through the ectopia-lab website.
