A conferência «FEMeeting: Mulheres em Arte, Ciência e Tecnologia» foi impulsionada pelo desejo de desenvolver e promover uma mais directa colaboração ao nível de projectos artísticos e de investigação entre indivíduos que se identificam com o sexo feminino. O projecto FEMeeting teve início em 2017, 1 sendo resultado da colaboração entre a artista plástica Marta de Menezes e a cientista social Dalila Honorato após a constatação de que, no campo da ciência e arte contemporânea, as mulheres têm uma presença visível tanto em festivais como em congressos internacionais.
A terceira conferência FEMeeting – Women in Art, Science and Technology, realiza-se de 12 a 17 de Setembro de 2022, em Évora, Portugal. A conferência FEMeeting é impulsionada pelo desejo de desenvolver e promover uma colaboração mais direta a nível de projetos artísticos e de investigação entre todos os indivíduos que se identificam com o género feminino. A conferência visa divulgar os projetos que estão a ser levados a cabo por mulheres em todo o mundo e, como resultado, contribuir para o desenvolvimento de metodologias de investigação artístico-científica e para o crescimento de estratégias de cooperação que possam aumentar a partilha de conhecimento e aproximar as comunidades.

The conference “FEMeeting: Women in Art, Science and Technology” was driven by the desire to develop and promote a more direct collaboration at the level of artistic and research projects between individuals who identify with the female gender. The FEMeeting project started in 2017, 1 being the result of the collaboration between the artist Marta de Menezes and the social scientist Dalila Honorato after the observation that, in the field of contemporary science and art, women have a visible presence both in festivals and international congresses.
The third conference FEMeeting – Women in Art, Science and Technology, is taking place, from 12 to 17 September 2022, in Évora, Portugal. FEMeeting is driven by the desire to develop and promote a more direct collaboration at the level of artistic and research projects between all individuals who identify with the female gender. The conference aims to disseminate projects being undertaken by women worldwide and, as a result, to contribute to the development of art-science research methodologies and to the growth of cooperation strategies that can increase knowledge sharing and bring communities closer.
