About the Artist

ENG// Jeffu Warmouth was born in California in 1970, and lives & works in Massachusetts. He received a BA from the University of Michigan in 1992, and an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in 1997. He is Professor of Communications Media & Game Design at Fitchburg State University.
Warmouth’s artwork has shown internationally, including Art on the Marquee, Boston, MA; DeCordova Museum, Lincoln, MA; MicroCineFest, Baltimore, MD; John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Sheboygan, WI; Flux Factory, New York; Experimenta Media Arts, Melbourne, Australia; and the 404 Festival of Art & Technology, Rosario, Argentina.
In 2014, the Fitchburg Art Museum in Massachusetts hosted his mid-career retrospective Jeffu Warmouth: NO MORE FUNNY STUFF. His work has been featured and reviewed in numerous publications including Photography and Humour, Exploring Color Photography, Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Lowell Sun, Worcester Magazine, PBS, and National Public Radio.
PT// Jeffu Warmouth nasceu na Califórnia em 1970 e vive e trabalha em Massachusetts. Licenciou-se na Universidade do Michigan e tem um mestrado da Escola do Museu de Belas Artes da Universidade Tufts em 1997. É professor de Comunicação Social e Design de videojogos na Fitchburg State University.
