PT// A Andreia D’Oliveira foi uma das participantes da Summer School deste ano, que prolongou a sua estadia e desenvolveu o projeto “Memento” na Cultivamos Cultura – clica aqui para ler o testemunho dela.

Sobre uma base de tecido foi aplicada pasta de papel de forma a conceber relevos, prosopopeias das anamorfoses dos primórdios do ato de pensar no seu estado puro, embebecidos no potencial nutritivo do ágar e do leite. Em algum momento, diante da perspetiva de que foi criado o cenário ideal para gerar paisagens promissoras, aproveitou a interessante diversidade de fungos e bactérias gerados em caixas de Petri por todo o grupo de artistas durante a experiência da Summer School. Utilizou os mesmo como uma paleta de cores, uma fagulha de cada individualidade, pontilhando estrategicamente os anamorfismos embebecidos com os microrganismo para que assim deixasse ao acaso o poder de decidir o destino cromático destes anamorfismos, que na verdade estão e estarão em mutação constante, sem nunca haver uma pintura final.

Que semeia e ceifa com o mesmo rosto.

As lágrimas que vês escorrer são as mesmas.

ENG// Andreia D’Oliveira was one of the participants of this year’ Summer School. She prolonged her stay and developed the project “Memento” at Cultivamos Cultura – click here to read her testemony.

On a fabric base, paper paste was applied in order to conceive reliefs, prosopeias of the anamorphosis of the primordial beginnings of the act of thinking in their pure state, soaked in the nutritive potential of agar and milk. At some point, faced with the prospect that the ideal scenario was created togenerate promising landscapes, she took advantage of the interesting diversity of fungi and bacteria generated in Petri dishes by the whole group of artists during the Summer School. She used them as a colour palette, a spark of each individuality, strategically dotting the anamorphisms soaked with the micro-organisms in order to leave to chance the power to decide the chromatic destiny of these anamorphisms, which in fact are and will be in constant mutation, without ever having a final painting.

Let it dry, let it die, let it blossom…

Just let it,

Leave it to chance…

Sweet chance that kills and gives birth,

That sows and reaps with the same face.

The tears you see flowing are the same.

The cries are the same.

The emptiness is the same.

The silence is the same.

But no one can shut you up,

Andreia D’Oliveira é uma artista formada em ilustração e design gráfico pela ESE e atualmente encontra-se a estudar pintura na Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa.

 Andreia D’Oliveira is an artist trained in Illustration and Graphic Designfrom ESE and currently she is studying painting at Fine Arts Lisbon University.
