Este projeto nasce da curiosidade e urgência de escutar o que costuma passar despercebido: os sons que acompanham, inquietam e sustentam o dia-a-dia de quem põe voluntariamente a sua vida em risco ao soar do alarme. Através da pesquisa e exploração de campo, procura-se compreender como o som atravessa o corpo e a memória, como como deixar marcas invisíveis, como se entranha no quotidiano de quem se oferece ao serviço do outro.
Entre silêncios, ruídos distantes e ecos persistentes, o projeto move-se nessa frequência — um campo de experimentação onde o ouvido conduz e o caminho se revela aos poucos. Não pretende explicar nem representar plenamente, mas sim abrir um espaço de escuta sensível onde possamos imaginar e sentir as vibrações das experiências vividas no terreno. É uma viagem por territórios onde o ouvido guia a percepção e onde cada ruído, por mais discreto, pode revelar o risco.
BIO
Francisco Preto (Lisboa, 1996) é artista sonoro e produtor musical. O seu trabalho abrange música eletrónica, design de som e criação sonora em contexto comunitário. Colabora com festivais, escolas e plataformas de investigação, usando o som como linguagem artística e instrumento de escuta coletiva. A sua prática passa pelo estúdio, a relação com o território e a performance, articulando experimentação, pedagogia e práticas sonoras. Trabalha com gravações de campo, composição e iniciativas educativas centradas na consciência auditiva e na exploração criativa. Tem contribuído para a investigação e preservação do património sonoro contemporâneo em projetos como “Processos Arquivados”, e desenvolveu também atividades educativas através do som e da música, em projetos como Criativar (EB1 Santa Clara e EB1 do Castelo), Escola Lá Fora e a Rádio Pavão.

This project stems from curiosity and the urgent need to listen to what usually goes unnoticed: the sounds that accompany, disturb and sustain the daily lives of those who voluntarily put their lives at risk when the alarm rings. Through research and field exploration, we seek to understand how sound crosses the body and memory, how it leaves invisible marks, how it becomes deep-rooted in the daily lives of those who offer themselves in the service of others.
Between silences, distant noises and persistent echoes, the project moves at this frequency — a field of experimentation where the ear leads and the path is gradually revealed. It does not seek to explain or represent fully, but rather to open up a sensitive space where we can imagine and feel the vibrations of the experiences lived in the field. It is a journey through territories where the ear guides perception and where every noise, however discreet, can reveal the risk.
BIO
Francisco Preto (Lisbon, 1996) is a sound artist and music producer. His work spans electronic music, sound design, and sound creation in a community context. He collaborates with festivals, schools and research platforms, using sound as an artistic language and an instrument for collective listening. His practice involves the studio, the relationship with the territory and performance, articulating experimentation, pedagogy and sound practices. He works with field recordings, composition and educational initiatives focused on sound awareness and creative exploration. He has contributed to the research and preservation of contemporary sound heritage in projects such as ‘Processos Arquivados’, and has also developed educational activities through sound and music in projects such as Criativar (EB1 Santa Clara and EB1 do Castelo), Escola Lá Fora and Rádio Pavão.
