PT// O CINEMA FULGOR é um cinema com raízes móveis, itinerante pela constelação espacial do Baixo Alentejo. Cinema composto e semente, pretende participar na construção de uma ruralidade viva e autónoma, convocar e nutrir as diversas e dispersas comunidades, propondo o cinema enquanto experiência comunal e ecológica.

tema que tenta elucidar.” SUZANNE DAVEAU traça o esboço de uma mulher aventureira que atravessa o
século XX, até aos dias de hoje, guiada pela paixão da investigação geográfica. O filme circula entre os inúmeros espaços-mundo percorridos pela geógrafa e os reservados espaços-casa que acolheram a sua vida privada.
EN// CINEMA FULGOR is a cinema with mobile roots, a wanderer through the spatial constellations of Baixo Alentejo. Cinema-compost and cinema-seed, it intends to participate in the construction of a living and autonomous rurality, to convoke and nurture diverse and disparate communities, proposing cinema as a communal and ecological experience.

“There is no science, no progress in knowledge, without love, without passion, without identification, even when it is a subject apparently devoid of life, such as the evolution of a slope or the genesis of a downpour. One may, perhaps, routinely apply a technique with pure objectivity, one cannot, with certainty, discover something new without the researcher becoming completely involved in the topic he is trying to elucidate.” SUZANNE DAVEAU sketches the outline of an adventurous woman who traverses the 20th century to the present day, guided by a passion for geographical research. The film moves between the countless world spaces travelled by the geographer and the reserved home spaces that hosted her private life.
