Eles encontraram uma fissura entre o tempo e o espaço… e entraram nela.
A exposição Fissura convida o público a atravessar o limiar entre a percepção e a ação, chegando a lugares onde imagens, como fragmentos de matéria e memória, tomam forma. É neste intervalo, nesta distância, que o olhar se expande, revelando os potenciais ocultos de espaços, corpos e ideias.
As obras aqui reunidas não pretendem resolver distâncias ou preencher vazios, mas sim amplificá-los, transformando-os em territórios de experimentação. Seja através da observação atenta, de uma memória perdida ou de uma história bem contada, novas camadas de quem somos e de onde estamos podem ser reveladas. Entre os cantos descobertos nesta fissura, recolhem-se artefactos, paisagens são recoloridas e a sobrevivência é desafiada enquanto medos e coragem vêm à tona.
A seleção de obras entrelaça-se por estas lacunas e toca no que geralmente nos escapa. Desenvolvidas no contexto das investigações do Cultivamos Cultura, as criações dos artistas Ana Baleia, Dalila Honorato, Elisa Ferretti, Ellen Wettmore, Jorge Leal, Pavel Romaniko, Lena Ortega & Robertina Šebjanič, e Mellissa Monsoon unem-se para contemplar novas formas de ver através destas fissuras.

They found a fissure between time and space… and entered it.
The exhibition Fissura invites the audience to cross the threshold between perception and action, arriving at places where images, like fragments of matter and memory, take shape. It is within this interval, this distance, that the gaze expands, unveiling the hidden potentials of spaces, bodies, and ideas.
The works gathered here do not aim to resolve distances or fill voids but rather to amplify them, transforming them into territories of experimentation. Whether through careful observation, a lost memory, or a well-told story, new layers of who we are and where we stand can be revealed. Among the corners uncovered in this fissure, artifacts are collected, landscapes are recolored, and survival is challenged as fears and courage come to light.
The selection of works weaves through these gaps and touches upon what usually escapes us. Developed within the context of investigations by Cultivamos Cultura, the artists Ana Baleia, Dalila Honorato, Elisa Ferretti, Ellen Wettmore, Jorge Leal, Pavel Romaniko, Lena Ortega & Robertina Šebjanič, and Mellissa Monsoon come together to contemplate new ways of seeing through these fissures.
