WHY THIS IS NOT ART | Uma democratização prática

O que é a arte? Qual a sua utilidade para si? Qual gostaria que fosse? A arte tem um valor existencial para a humanidade, mas a arte contemporânea é também um mercado de investimento cujos valores são controlados por um pequeno punhado de instituições, comerciantes e coleccionadores. Com simples exercícios de desenho e escrita emprestados pelos surrealistas, podemos tentar imaginar a arte com os nossos próprios usos e definições.

WHY THIS IS NOT ART | A hands-on democratization
What is art? What use is it to you? What would you like it to be? Art has an existential value for humanity, but contemporary art is also an investment market whose values are controlled by a small handful of institutions, dealers, and collectors. With simple drawing and writing exercises borrowed from the Surrealists, we can try to imagine art with our own uses and definitions.
