Na sua residência Bruno Caracol colaborou com Pavel Tavares e Léna Lewis-King para desenvolver o material videográfico utilizado no Garden Acquired Immunity – a participação da Cultivamos Cultura no festival Ars Electronica 2020.
Entre a paisagem social de São Luís e a paisagem natural do Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano recolheram imagens e sons que nos permitam aproximar duma caracterização deste cenário que contextualiza a nossa prática e envolve todos os artistas que nos visitam.

In her residence Bruno Caracol collaborated with Pavel Tavares and Léna Lewis-King to develop the video material used in the Garden Acquired Immunity – the participation of Cultivamos Cultura in the festival Ars Electronica 2020.
Between the social landscape of São Luís and the natural landscape of the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano they collected images and sounds that allow us to approach a characterization of this scenery that contextualizes our practice and involves all the artists that visit us.
BIO | Bruno Caracol (Lisboa 1980) estudou Design e Artes Plásticas na FBAUL em Lisboa, onde vive. Em 2019 fez parte do programa de residências de Lugar a Dudas, em Cali Can Serrat em Barcelona, em 2018 participou na Floating University, em Berlim e no festival A_Salto, em Elvas. Em 2017 completou um mestrado em Ciências da Comunicação – Cultura Contemporânea na FCSH-NOVA, em torno da construção moderna da ideia de “natureza selvagem”; participou no Festival DNA, em Pamplona, e na Bienal de Artes de Cerveira. Também participou em eventos como a Plataforma Trafaria, de Almada, e a Trienal de Arquitectura de Lisboa. Entre 2009 e 2011 colaborou na produção da residência artística Capacete, no Rio de Janeiro. Durante esse período, participou do evento V:E:R, na Terra Una, em Minas Gerais, no programa de exposições do CCSP, em São Paulo, e com Maria Moreira e Marcelo Wasem organizou um ciclo de eventos sobre / com colectivos de artistas no Rio de Janeiro, “Jogos de Escuta”.

Bruno Caracol (Lisbon, 1980) studied Design and Visual Arts at FBAUL in Lisbon, where he lives. In 2019 he was a resident artist in Lugar a Dudas, Cali and part of Can Serrat’s residency program, in Barcelona. in 2018 participated in Linha de Fuga in Coimbra, Shocklab, Loulé, Floating University, Berlin and A_Salto festival in Elvas. In 2017 he completed a master’s degree in Communication Sciences – Contemporary Culture at FCSH-NOVA, around the modern construction of the idea of “wild nature”; participated in the Festival DNA, in Pamplona and in the Biennial of Arts of Cerveira. Between 2009 and 2011 he collaborated with the production of the artistic residence Capacete, in Rio de Janeiro. During this period, he participated in the CCSP exhibition program in São Paulo and organized a series of events about / with groups of artists in Rio de Janeiro, “Jogos de Escuta”.
