The piece we want to investigate grows culture is called “Loop Point”.

“A loop is a sequence of instructions that is repeated while a condition is prescribed. An ill-defined condition may lead to a circuit execution error.” Questioning prescribed patterns or perfection is also part of the true, chaotic, wild nature of perfection. The question is whether virtuosity and freedom fit simultaneously into one body.

“Um laço é uma sequência de instruções que é repetido enquanto uma condição é prescrita. Uma condição mal definida pode conduzir a um erro de execução do circuito.” Questionar os padrões prescritos ou perfeição, é também parte da verdadeira natureza, caótica e selvagem da perfeição. A questão é se o virtuosismo e a liberdade cabem simultaneamente em um só corpo.

Tankuerdas is a contemporary and vertical dance project. The company was born out of the creative restlessness that comes from finding new spaces and taking the time to explore vertical languages in different urban and natural spaces.
The Company started spontaneously and creates situations that take place at a specific time and in a specific place. Rethinking the latest works and times we recover pieces and investigations that we have been developing and now seek to show the public more  works and more solid pieces.
We look for more or less accessible places that are in themselves the context of the play. So far we have used medieval walls, mountain walls, scaffolding, cork oaks, old ships and bridges.

Tankuerdas é um projecto de dança contemporânea e vertical. A empresa nasceu da inquietude criativa que vem de encontrar novos espaços e de tomar tempo a explorar linguagens verticais em espaços urbanos e naturais diferentes.
A Companhia teve início espontaneamente a partir do jogo e cria situações que têm lugar num momento específico e num lugar específico. Repensando os últimos trabalhos e tempos resgatam peças e investigações que têm vindo a desenvolver e agora procuram mostrar mais obras públicas e mais sólidas.
Procuramos lugares mais ou menos acessíveis que são em si mesmos o contexto da peça. Até agora temos usado muralhas medievais, paredes de montanhas, andaimes, sobreiros, velhos navios e pontes.
