WORKSHOPS Knowledge

Most artists that visit Cultivamos Cultura have developed specialized knowledge and skills during their career as art creators. As a consequence, there is an opportunity to share those skills to the art community in Portugal. Cultivamos Cultura organizes workshops, typically with a duration of one or two days, for small groups of people. These workshops can take place at Cultivamos Cultura or in other locations.

SUMMER SCHOOL Knowledge

Since 2013 Cultivamos Cultura has been organizing an international Summer School for a selected group of participants. The Summer School takes advantage of resident artists at Cultivamos Cultura, as well as experts on different disciplines co-opted from different Portuguese institutions. The participants have an opportunity to experience a one week intensive exposure to topics on the intersection of art, science, and philosophy. INTERNSHIPS Knowledge

Students from art schools can apply to Cultivamos Cultura internship program. The program provides the opportunity to experience the development of an artwork by a resident artist. During that time the intern will act as “assistant” to a resident artist, and is provided lodging at Cultivamos Cultura. LECTURES AND SYMPOSIA Knowledge

Cultivamos Cultura organizes lectures and symposia dedicated to specific topics related to art, technology and creativity. These symposia take place at different venues and bring together experts from Portugal and elsewhere. Follow us in Facebook for updates on lectures and symposia.
